Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC), operating under Principal Healthcare, which manages private hospitals and health businesses, has signed a cooperation agreement to adopt the MEDConnext (FHIR Standard for health information) with Backyard Co., Ltd. (Backyard) at Bangkok Business Center, Ekkamai. The signing was led by Mr. Danairat Thanabodithammachari, Executive Chairman, and Mr. Jatuphol Chawapatnakul, CEO of Backyard Co., Ltd., along with their affiliated companies.
Dr. Krittavith Lertutsahakul, Managing Director, and Mr. Pawat Thanawutisirawat, Chief Healthcare Officer of PRINC, also honored the event with their presence.
Mr. Danairat Thanabodithammachari, Executive Chairman of Backyard Co., Ltd. and its affiliates, stated that the development of the MEDConnext FHIR Standard aims to facilitate data exchange between hospitals. This will make it easier and more efficient to access patient health information from various hospitals and improve hospital management.
This development represents a significant advancement in health information systems in Thailand, addressing the current changes in the healthcare and medical fields. It also aims to enhance health data exchange efficiency, ensuring that the public can access healthcare services comprehensively, everywhere, and equally.
